The Old House

This was the old house that we owned for about a week before we had it torn down. Although it was in terrible condition, it was a fascinating piece of history. The newspapers the previous owners had put under the floors for insulation dated from two world wars, and included an article about our friend Darren's great-uncle, as well as an advertisement to buy war bonds to "Help Stop Hitler!" The old house survives on in some bricks we saved from the foundation, as well as the appliances in our basement kitchenette.
